Established in 2000, the Academy for Jewish Religion, California has quickly become an essential institution in service to the Jewish community and worthy of your support. How essential are we? Consider this:

Need: Jewish spiritual leaders who have the ability to serve all Jews and Jewish communities.
Fact: Because of our unique transdenominational training, AJRCA graduates are leading Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist, Renewal and Transdenominational synagogues and other Jewish institutions nationwide.

Need: Jewish spiritual leaders who are well-equipped to help those they serve, in both good times and bad.
Fact: Because of our emphasis on spirituality and spiritual counseling, AJRCA graduates have the skills necessary to provide those who come to them for help with greater internal resources to deal with adversity; to counter feelings of anxiety and anguish; and give those who are in pain a greater sense of G-d’s presence being with them.

Need: Jewish spiritual leaders who can transform the Jewish communities in which they serve.
Fact: AJRCA alumni have won national awards for professional excellence, been elected to executive positions on their Board of Rabbis as well as local interfaith organizations, honored for their contributions to their communities, and profiled or provided expert commentary in local, national and international publications.

Need: Jewish spiritual leaders who are able to reach out to the unaffiliated.
Fact: Some of our alumni have established congregations focused on the unaffiliated. This is what their congregants have to say: This is Judaism from the heart. “We left services feeling enriched and inspired.” “This may have been the most unique, wonderful High Holy Days of my life.” “For me, this is what Judaism is all about.” “Through her, I have learned the true essence of our wonderful Jewish heritage.”

Need: Qualified Jewish chaplains who can fill the documented, rapidly increasing need for their services.
Fact: AJRCA is the only Jewish seminary and graduate institution in the United States that prepares people to become board certified Jewish chaplains.

AJRCA is meeting the needs of the 21st century American Jewish community and that’s a fact. Your support is deeply appreciated!
