While they come from diverse professional backgrounds, all of our Chaplaincy School students have a similar desire to assist people through important life transitions, enabling them to find resiliency, comfort and support within the deep layers of Jewish tradition. As a result of their training, the graduates of our Chaplaincy School are capable of guiding others in moments of crisis, life-cycle events, the search for meaning, the spiritual dimension of rituals, leading appropriate prayers, and working in multi-dimensional settings. The program is open to psychotherapists, rabbinical and cantorial students, and individuals with various professional backgrounds such as religion, education, mental health and the arts.
