Our Cantorial School students are dynamic men and women whose deep passion for music connects them to their Judaism and is an integral part of their spirituality. A number of them hold undergraduate or graduate degrees related to music. As children, many sang with their cantors and/or as adults, in their synagogue choirs. While they come from diverse backgrounds and represent various denominations, they share a desire to study at a school that encourages their creativity and spiritual orientation, stimulates their intellect, and nurtures and develops their personal skills and natural gifts. Our students have a passion to connect with their fellow Jews, both those who are affiliated and those who have been searching for a more resonant spiritual connection within our Jewish traditions.
